A number of provincial and local government staff in and around Squamish, particularly MoFR and BC Parks have expressed interest in the Trails Strategy for BC, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, BC Parks and the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. I know many of you were not able to attend the inter-agency information session held in Langley.
Since I am in Squamish and it is relatively easy, I can host an informal presentation and information session for anyone who is interested. The official period for comments on the Draft Strategy has passed, however I am happy to review and consider any comments / discussions submitted directly to me as we contemplate final changes and amendments to the draft document.
The session will be at the Adventure Centre on Thursday, February 19th at 2:00 pm until 4pm. Please pass on this invitation to any other members of your organizations that may be interested in attending.
